Data engineering, done by the people who build the platform
Services
What stops an operation using its own data is rarely a missing product. It is that nobody has had the weeks it takes to connect the systems, agree what an asset is called, and make the numbers reconcile. That work is what this is.
The work itself, not a methodology
Getting the data out
Control systems, historians, maintenance records, and the spreadsheets that turned out to be load-bearing. We read from the control side and never write back into it, which is the rule that makes this safe to do on a plant that is running.
Agreeing what things are called
The slow part of every data project. One definition per asset, per measurement and per unit, written down where both people and software can read it. This is where the arguments about whose number is right actually get settled.
Migrating off what is ending
Systems reach end of support, terms change, and the person who understood the integration retires. Moving the data is the easy half. Moving the meaning, so the history still makes sense afterwards, is the half that needs someone who has done it before.
How small we are
We are a small team, and we take on work we can actually finish. Sometimes that means telling you a project is too big for us, or that it is better done by your own people with us helping. You will hear that early rather than after something is signed.
Want this done alongside your team instead?
Some of this goes faster when an engineer sits with your operators for a stretch rather than delivering from the outside. That is a different arrangement, and it has its own page.
